MISSION & PURPOSE
Our mission is to equip and encourage churches to bring about the transformation of individuals and communities through Jesus Christ. Our mantra is “We’re Better Together,” because we know we can do more for Christ together than alone.
The Annual District Leadership Conference serves as an opportunity for EFCA Texas-Oklahoma District churches to unite and focus on this mission. Our goal is to come alongside church leaders by providing worship, speakers and breakout sessions that will inspire, equip and encourage all those who attend.

About Jaron
Pastor Jaron Jones is the Lead Pastor of Shine Bible Fellowship Church planted in 2016. Along with his beautiful wife of 13 years, Eboni, he has the joy of parenting two precious little girls, Chloe and Kendal. They long to see a church who is passionately pursuing deeper relationships with Jesus through practical and relevant biblical teaching and authentic relationships with others. The end goal is to “shine brightly” to radically transform families, the community, city and beyond!

About Drew
Drew Leaver is the Lead Pastor of Northeast Bible Church (NEBC) in San Antonio, Texas, where he has served since 2010. Prior to arriving at NEBC, he served as a Teaching Pastor in Dallas, where he earned a degree from Dallas Theological Seminary.

About Brent
In 2001, Dr. Brent Burckart planted Cornerstone Community Bible Church in Rosenberg, Texas, a multi-ethnic, multi-generational congregation which grew to about 500 people under his leadership. Brent completed his Doctor of Ministry in 2020 with an emphasis in church health, multiplication, and leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary where he now serves as an Adjunct Faculty member in the Pastoral Ministries Department.
In his new role as EFCA TX-OK District Superintendent, Brent’s desire is to come alongside our pastors and churches to encourage and equip them to remain spiritually healthy, biblically grounded, missionally focused, and strategically connected in these challenging and changing times. Brent and his wife Elvie have been married for 31 years and have two children, Caryssa (26) and Bryce (24).
